In addition to developing the electric bus market in Taiwan, Master Transportation is also expanding its presence overseas. General Manager Wu Chung-hsi stated on the 7th that 7-meter medium-sized electric buses ordered by Japan's Ryobi Group are scheduled for delivery in 2024 and 2025. Master also plans to expand into the markets of Singapore, Paraguay, and India.

The mid-sized electric buses from Master are set to hit the market in the second quarter of next year. Ryobi Group is planning to replace its 350 vehicles with Master’s 7-meter mid-sized electric buses, which is expected to drive a growth of sales.

Wu Chung-hsi revealed that he will soon visit Chennai and Mumbai in India. Chennai has plans to replace 500 diesel vehicles with electric ones, scheduled to be completed by the end of next year. Master will bring its supply chain there to locally produce and supply vehicles. As for Maharashtra State, there are plans to replace all 20,000 fuel buses with electric buses by 2040, presenting promising opportunities.

Wu Chung-hsi pointed out that every country or region now cares about employment rates and tax revenue. They hope to retain some tax revenue and job opportunities locally. In response to this trend, Master’s electric bus supply will adopt a complete factory export model, transporting components produced in Taiwan overseas for assembly, in line with the requirements of the clients. As for the motors of Master’s electric vehicles, in cooperation with TECO Electric & Machinery, it is hoped that the monthly supply of TECO motors can reach 25 vehicles after this September, and increases to 50 vehicles next year.
